Valve cover gasket

So I need to change my valve cover gasket and my cam seal on my 99 GS, but I was wondering where I could order these parts from. I checked my local acura dealer and just for the gasket its $73. I havent checked on the cam seal, I was wondering if anyone knows a site I could order these from, and what brands to stay away from/ what brands are suggested. OR if i should just go for the OEM ones.

Well.. I just got my cam seal for $18, and valve cover gaskets can be found for around the same price. I wouldn't buy any parts from the stealership unless you really need them and can't find them anywhere else.. go to rockauto.com because their prices are always good.

And pretty much all the brands you find on rock auto are good, so you'll probably be fine with any of them.

That's a rip-off. I bought my oem vc gasket for around $10. There's a member that makes billet cam seals for a good price:http://www.clubintegra.com/board/showthread.php?t=78843

but I even called yesterday to see how much the blue cap that goes on the windshield wiper fluid reservoir and it cost $15, I know they are a rip off and I feel like sometimes they dont know about the parts I'm asking for.

I'd look on ebay. There are a lot of Honda/Acura dealers on there and usually have a bunch of maintenance items.

do you not have any vatozones or oreillys (kragen) around you? or advanced auto? but 73 bucks for a damn gasket is a big time jip! hahaha but i work at a nissan dealership so i cant really talk

nope, I wish(live on guam) we only got Napa and CarQuest.
