Bad tires go in front. New tires go in rear. Reason being. If you have a blow out which will most likely happen to the older tire. You can control it if it were to happen in the front. No the rear. At least that's out company policy at Tire Kingdom/NTB/BigOTires.
remind me to never go to big o' tires for tire installation unless I'm getting all four.

I dont think u need new tires for the other ones, as long as they are in good condition. Just remember, fresh treads go in front, older/worn treads go in the back. Of course it'd be best to have ALL new tires and rotate them.

What do you mean by cupping? Like as the wheel rotates, it actually goes up and down like oval instead of circular? Are they aftermarket rims? Almost all aftermarket rims need centric rings, and im guessing your set up is in serious need of those. Balancing will help, but you'd still have some minimal vibration without centric rings.

Yeah it feels like driving on oval wheels lol and if u feel the tires they aren't one smooth surface. Tey have bulges in some areas
. They are aftermarket rims. If it was a bit of vibration I wouldn't be as concerned but I wouldn't be able to drive with it doing that everyday. I might try balancing And getting that centric ring u recommended Hopefully that works :/

Discounttires.com $15 for a set of aluminums, call em and they have any size u need. I think ur bulges/flat spots are causing most of vibrations

So they have bubbles?

Like this?

If that is the case, I highly recommend not driving on them and getting new tires. The bubbles weaken the tire greatly and are broken cords inside the tire. It's caused by hitting pot holes and curbs.

yeah yeah ! just like that , except it is on the top of the tires , not the sidewall.
still has the same effect? weakens the tires?
its weird, I never seen this before or heard of tires that are "cupping" :S

yeah if you have bubbles dont drive the car, go to a little tire shop or try and find some used tires for the time being, as for the guy with the ntb statement about bald tires in front, that is why i quit ntb, not to mention the fact that the management was horrible! you never want to put bald tires on the front because if you hit a wet patch your not gonna control, and if you have blow out on the front your gonna have a harder time controlling it compared to as if it were on the rear axle. but as stated, just try to get used tires at the minimum.

Same affect... Stop driving on them and get them replaced.

If the bubble is on the top of the tire the steel belts have separated. That tire could blow at any moment. Drive it only to the shop to be replaced. Also, I recommend no passengers and no kids in the car...just in case.
