Hmm. I guess I'll pass on the generals. I'll do more research on the s. Drives.
Here is another option that may be better for you.

They are 205/50R15's, which is about 1/2" shorter and 1/2" wider than stock. They're W speed rated, which is for 168-mph, so you can safely peg your speedo and not have to worry about a blowout, and they are the highest traction and temperature ratings available.

Ouch, only a 30k mile tire. If I din't do a summer tire, I'm going to get a high performance all season, which is really what I should get.

Yeah; with all the driving you do, a UHP all-season would be your best bet most definitely. And even though the mileage sucks on those Kumhos, that's what those are, and I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend $300 every 3 or 4 years than $450 every 3 or 4 years for cheap 18" low-pros.

Wiped down one of the wheels with a wet rag and the spots that I thought were scratches or clear coat peeling was actually just brake dust build up. The wheel shines like the day it was first put on the car.

I don't know how you get so lucky with parts, but it's making me jealous.
Any luck deciding on tires?

Im actually trying to decide between goodyear eagle gt's or yokahamas. Forgot the actual name, but they're a 60k mile tire.
