Damn I wish I was getting mileage like that. Consistent 20. Damn near no matter what I do. Then again I got a heavy foot and db2 ys1 but I think I could do better, I did before. Suppose its partially due to the bigger bore, and I think it may be this ecu JM running. X2 on good ol Honda mtf.

well now when i'm on the way to work i'm usually on 80+ mph *yea i speed going to work, i'm guilty* but i still avg 28, but most of my miles are a big stretch of highway when i go to work, no stop and go.

i think i'll get some 30 weight oil to try to help flush out whatever old shit is in the trans and drop the fluid for some honda MTF when i do my next oil change

Yeah that's another thing, I do 99% city driving. Not to mention I'm at like 4k @ 65-70ish.

Lucky. I'd like an LS 5th for long runs but that's already a rare occasion so I'm not in a hurry.

i would offer my busted transmission, but that supercharger sound it made in cruising in 5th gear this past friday doesnt make me feel confident that it's any good lol. i think i'm going to have that trans rebuilt and beefed up

Hahaha yeah that doesn't sound very appealing. I just need to buy a stock ls for dd. Then get carbon coated synchros for the db2.

well...the 19th...i picked up this LS trans (i hope it turns out good)

these parts came in on the 21st

so...the 22nd...which so happened to be my birthday *sigh* i went and picked up a 'auto transport' to take Evelyn to charleston for my homeboy to get to working on it

got there about 5:30 and ran to the honda dealership to get the rear main oil seal...got back to his house about 6:20 maybe...he had everything busted down and ready to pull the transmission out, got the trans out and stopped for the night..figured he'd hit me up when he woke up, but i woke up to this text

so i ran over to help, in w/e way i could..although i'm far from a certified ASE mechanic lol. anyway..everything is together except for this fail situation...

i'm guessing that portion of the axle got welded into the halfshaft, cuz that bitch was not coming out

basically what happened i was driving around w/ a dry transmission..whoever did the clutch work on this car before i got didnt put enough MTF in it, and i suffered from lack of workmanship..FML right?! headed to Charlotte this afternoon to scoop up a halfshaft and drop it off..hopefully i'll have my car back tomorrow
