Catalytic converter question

Is there a difference between a 95 Integra catalytic converter and one from a 91? My cat converter is being way too loud and might need to replace it, unless I find out the sound is coming from somewhere else. Reason I ask is cause I have a 91 Integra with a 95 engine, so would that mean I'd have to get a 95 cat converter? I'm a bit confused when it comes to replacing parts, since I don't have a stock 91 engine. When replacing parts, which specific parts should I be getting as 95 parts, and which parts should I be getting as 91 parts?

Get the cat that goes with the exhaust. If you have the stock exhaust on then go buy that. Also I recommend a highflow cat, they are cheap, help flow, and legal.

Unless you go to the JY and pull one

So what you're saying is if I get a new cat, might as well get an exhaust that comes with a cat?
No, you don't get a cat by what motor you have, but by the exhaust.
