Lame. All i got was unclear skies and then plain blue in the day. Ive been keeping my camera handy but most of the time i make do with the iphone.

So with the death of my cheap point and shoot camera, I've decided to join the big dogs and get a DSLR camera and just teach myself how to use it. My mother in law uses a Nikon d3000 with great success as a photographer so I'm pretty much set on that one after reading. Anyone have suggestions for a better camera in that price bracket? Keep in mind on eBay I can get an entire setup for ~$220.
