Was told it was a GS by previous owner but when I got it insured came up as LS under the vin. He did say as is but I did not sign anything to the such and I think I will contact him ask him to give me some of my money back but doubt it. He is from Oakland so he might even be in a gang so I don't need that kind of drama. Just suck it up and keep on trucking after all it's only money. Wish I had more of it but easy come easy go.

Well based on the OP's last response he got screwed, but isn't totally screwed...

If you love the car and the way it handles and drives I'm all for seeing you resurrect this car believe me when I say the more you put into it the more you will come to love it. Unfortunately with the 2nd gens most bail on em once they realize the cost to keep & maintain these cars will never be netted back after you are done with it.

it is not too different from being married... you may never see the return on the investment but for the sake of "Love" keep working and spending hours to see it last as long as you can make it work.

Yeah I got screwed alright he didn't disclose the damage. I was told one motor mount and about the oil light and the hollowed out cat. I was ok with all that but the guy micky moused the stereo wiring which I corrected however since then my dashclock, cigar lighter, and front dome lights don't work. My fuse box is missing the diagram. Maybe you all can help me to find where that fuse is located.

I do need a new front end I pretty much want to replace the fenders and the hood but willing to do the bumper too. What would you guys recommend?

And is anyone in here from Northern Cali that can point me in right direction to help me troubleshoot some of the electircal issue's cheaply. Really I think most of it is because the guy had no idea what he was doing just wired everything he added sloppy. Has 8k HID which is cool but the wiring is crap. Once I get the dome lights and cigar charger and dash clock is working. Felling little better when I realized when I am done this car is going to look sick!!! Don't really have the need for speed anymore but it's nice I just want it to look good be fun and handle nice.

Another part I lucked out on it does have tokico blue's cheap but not bad though I will change that once the car is finished being preped and painted.

What is the best sander and sand paper to strip the car down to prep for paint. I know I can do it just need a few tips and pointers as well. Thanks you guys have been pretty good at answering my questions. Makes me even more proud to own an integra.
