Recap from Round 1 at Buttonwillow Raceway Park/Update:
I was excited to go out and set a PB, but unfortunately the day ended early for me and DJ. I was only able to get in 1.5 sessions and managed to only do a fastest lap time of 2:14.753 during my first session. I noticed that DJ was a bit unstable in a few corners, suffering from both oversteer and understeer, which was mind-boggling since she normally has neutral handling characteristics. At first, I thought it was just me having an off day, but after having Yokohama check my tire pressures and temperatures, it turned out that one of my wheels was leaking air due to a tiny crack on the lip.
After the track day, I decided that it was time to let go of the Regas and put them up for sale. They ended up getting sold to a friend right away. I was planning on getting a set of the Buddy Club P1 Racing SF OneFive8 15x8 wheels, but they're completely sold out. I'd have to wait 3 months for Buddy Club to get another shipment from Japan. Plan B was to get a set of Kosei K1 Racing wheels in 15x8 +35 and that's exactly what I did. I placed an order today and they should be arriving soon. Only thing is that they are meant for Miatas which have 54.1mm center hub compared to 56.1mm that the Integra uses. I'm going to have to bore out the wheels a little to make them fit. This has already been done before, so there's nothing to worry about. Excited to mount the RS-R's on them and slap them on DJ! :thumbs up
Thanks to Dylan AKA Samurai_Blue for letting me borrow one of his LS Mesh wheels to get home! :thumbs up
