Rule Changes
  • Since HRT are no longer on the grid, six cars instead of seven will be dropped after Q1 and Q2
  • DRS will be restricted to the DRS zones in practice and qualifying, and there will be two DRS zones per circuit if it is feasible
  • Cars must be able to return to the pits under their own power during qualifying or else risk exclusion from the results
  • Mid-season testing will be banned again after being reintroduced in 2012
  • Double DRS that Mercedes did absolutely nothing with in 2012 will be banned
  • ‘Modesty panels’ will be allowed (and encouraged) to cover the ugly stepped noses that were present in 2012

I don't mind them using it. I think it's a pretty cool system, just think that they should be able to use it whenever they want.

Yes NBC network for the next 4 years. NBC sports will air them all except for 4 races, like they did with speed. Bob Varsha is the only one not there, and not sure about buxton, butt Lee, Steve and the old dude will be there

that would extend the gap between top teams and the other teams. Kimi made a reference to how the redbull could have the drs open and be flat through a corner where other cars cant

Then they should do away with it, they're always talking about ways to lower the budget the teams spend anyway.

I want to know how they think its fair for certain team to utilize DRS and others don't.
