I've been trying to start my 1995 acura integra LS since yesterday and today I noticed something different about my engine bay. Surely enough I remember that I have a cold air intake...and it's not there anymore. Usually I thought it was because my shitty battery died again because of the cold, but trying to start my car this time with a boost gave me a different reaction. When I saw that my short ram was gone I was confused and just said ...seriously? Stealing my intake is one thing, but now I cannot even start my car and risk a ticket tomorrow; or possibly another thief if I dont move it out of there tomorrow. I heard its bad that I drive my car without a intake, sure I would just drive it to move it out of there, but I cannot even do that because it wont even start. I have no idea what whoever stole it did to it because I'm not experienced with cars. One thing that I have read from searching that might be possible is the airflow sensor ahead of the stolen tube that is exposed. But I have no idea how to remedy this?
When my car isnt being charged with a boost, the 2nd turn lights that come on barely light up. When I start the engine it trys to start once and just dies really quick. When being boosted the lights come up nice and bright and when I start the engine it trys to start up making slow start up noises but doesnt start.
I would really appreciate any advice to get my car started at least. Need to drive that badboy off that thief block.
