I'm surprised more people aren't participating in this thread and asking question on how to get their lap times down. Dey don't know

im going to try. Ill do 3 races. If i start doing a Jeremy Clarkson, then i wont hit a 30 ish time. If i go full Lewis Hamilton ill be able to do it. Im going to try that jump thing too out of the hairpins.

This is how K1 Sacramento has their track, i guess RPM originally had two tracks.

Jumping out of the seat is something like extreme aero; get comfy in the driver seat, then when you close to max out, start doing that. K1 is weird; just be smooth and lean in through turns to keep the wheels planted :thumbs up
I was leaning so much last weekend, my shoulders hurt, lol

And let your body absorb the bumps, fighting it shocks the kart and makes it break traction a bit. My helmet bounces a lot

lean into the turns then? And, be relaxed?
im kind of excited to get some seat time in before we start the season, more excited to go karting, for the second time ever.

Shahada! I know it sounds like they're two different things, but they can relate. You'll see what I'm saying when you get some more seat time, my doods. Karting is hella fun, I still get nervous before a race. Stretch your upper body before you race, helps a lot

I was fighting the steering wheel a lot, so you may be ok. It usually doesn't hurt my shoulders. Most the time it's my elbow and thumb area, lol. Just limber up a bit and you'll be good. Focus on the line the first session, then breaking, then give it the beans in the final session. nobody remembers who won the first race, just the last
