Bosal Exhaust system

Looking for my next Teg..
reading this thread... from start to finish.. I'd still say tanabe exhaust if you can find the Hyper Medallion kit it is Turbo ready but very difficult to track down..., otherwise look at the Skunk 2 n1 style kit... u definitely going to want to go to a 3" exhaust pushing that kinda boost... Talk about turning a teg into a rocketship LOL...

LS block definitely takkes boost well while maintaining torque... Love to see how this unfolds..

ALso based on what I'm reading, wait for the exhaust until you are ready to boost... buying a 350 dollar header, then 700 dollar exhaust kit is a waste if you are gonna boost it... soon as you go turnbo that header and exhaust are gonna have to change.

to tell you the truth, you might want to straight pipe the car, the turbo will keep the car quiet, but you'll need a certain diameter pipe that will keep velocity constant.

I dunno if i'd be willing to straight pipe it only cuz it has to go through emissions still and MD does a sniff test here and they use a mirror at the ones I go to to see if you're running a cat or not. But pulling from advice everyone has given me, all very good reasons to wait on exhaust. For right now i was also getting a new exhaust anyway because my cars rezzy and cat are destroyed.. So that's more why I was looking at the Bosal system seeing how it's $300 after shipping and all.

Well all i can say is do it right or do it twice, If I was you, I'd pick your favorite muffler, get a magnaflow high flow cat, take it to the exhaust shop and tell them to do work. Thats just my opinion, I live in alabama so no emissions for me lol

I like that idea, but would that be cost effective for the meantime? And would the high flow catalytic converter add to the horsepower/sound of the car at all?
