Hey guys, my name's micah. My girl has a 91 Acura Integra and it does not run, I plan on helping her get this this running, i'm a d series fan myself, but its her car and I love her lol. Basically she got it from her late brother and it hasn't been started in a few years, She says she needs a new battery, a new starter for it. I plan on getting those things, and dropping the fuel tank and putting some fresh gas in it. When her brother had the car she said he did some upgrades to it, It has intake and exhaust as far as I know. I know with the hp that these motors bring stock that the average guy does not break open the block and do internal work. But anything I should be wary of before I get this thing running? thanks guys, glad to be part of the community ! I got some pics !

I live in bham, I'm not sure if this car has been on craiglist. And if so my gf does not know about it, Its her car and she says she'll never sell it because to much sentimental value.

just a standard b18 that came in the 90-91 models, the 130 hp motor. I don't know the exact name though like the b18a1 I think. And your not too far from me at all.

And to the rest of you guys, she plans to do alot of things to this ride. she just wants rims for now, but i'll upgrade the lights, probably spend a few hundred and do a proper HID retro, 6000 k HID. I know i'm not going to crap out on I/H/E, and good Intake and header combos? For exhaust i'm doing an aero turbine full exhaust (cats, resonator, muffler, and tip). Power is not really my goal but it will be nice to have. Once I get the I/H/E i'll get the tune. I plan on lowering this thing, i probably will just do lowering springs with extended top hats.

You don't live in cali so there's no point in droppin cash on a name brand one. It's just piping, filter is all that matters. I'd just get a k&n filter and ebay intake.

Florida doesn't care about cars too much, most southern states don't even have emissions, I might go K&N just because most of their systems are made out of plastic, which doesn't conduct heat as much as metal does. What point does a CAI do if the pipe the air enters is steaming hot? Ever touched a CAI after you been driving for a bit lol. What about intanke mannies (IM) though? What's good for the money? I don't really like skunk products (bad experiences in the past) but if they are good for the money, I won't mind dropping in the cash for it. As far as head work, standard PnP job, 3 angle will suffice? Could I possible convert this motor to OBD1 ?
