A lot of 240's are molested and poorly treated, so a lot must be unreliable. But if its well maintained, then it could be reliable.

i no jay thats what im looking at i dont care for the pop up headlights tho, like the 95 and newer, lol wouldnt mind a kouki, but when i move to hawaii i would be able to get one, just not sure about being able to get parts when something happens to it, also jay i am an ass man to, tits i could give a shit about lol

alot of Honda's and Acura's are also molested and poorly treated...end up NOT running. It also goes for any car. I've seen only Three types of vehicles come to life after being destroyed, beaten, abused, drowned, crushed, etc, etc,....They were a Toyota Hilux, Range Rover, and a Lancia.

Finding parts for an S14 (95 and newer), will pose no problem. The achilles heel for Nissan's are mostly electrical. Your problem when you get to Hawaii, is finding a seller who is willing to part with their ride. Over there, them 240sx's are already outfitted with JDM parts...just like AE86's you'll see over there as well.

I'm positive parts are easy to find for 240's, I love the pop up lights. 240sx is a sexy car and a front runner in import tuning.

They're basically integras, just rwd. What I mean by that is there's some beat up pos 240s out there and there's some pristine ones, just like an integra. Parts are about the same price too. My friend and her bf both have 240s and they love them and so do I. Nissan builds some solid cars.
