Ok so I just installed a new cold air intake system into my 91 integra, and before putting my bumper back on, I decided to test it. So I started it up, and i revved the engine. The throttle and RPM's shot up to 3000 and stayed their even though I took my foot off the gas. I'm scared me throttle got stuck open. any suggestions as how I can fix this? Or as to why the RPM's stuck at 3000?

Take the CAI off and see if it actually got stuck...

I started the car again and when i went to rev it this time, the rpm's went up and then almost instantly dropped...which doesnt seem like a good thing either

Yea, but really quickly and the car went back to idle

Yes obviously but they dropped quickly and violently, faster than normal.

Sounds like you missed a vacuum line

I disconnected the battery for a few mins and then reconnected it and now im letting the car idle. It's at 500 RPM which is really low for my teg, before the new CAI it would idle at least at 1100 RPM.

1100 is a bit high, 500-700 is purrfect

hmmm well i've been letting it idle for like 20 minutes now, should I shut her off? or try revving it again?
