Lol. Got to love these kind of moments when there is so many things to get misconscrewed and it just comes out as a huge clusterf***. LOL.
PIR in northern portland OR. Not quite near Lincoln city. Its just north of Salem, OR capital.
And PIR ended up being closed to "open" races. They are doing buy in races now. We didnt feel like paying 250 just to get in, along with the whatever amount for our pro am license. Which if we fail to get our pro am, we go home and dont get our money back. s***.
They normaly do late night drags during the summer where its just 50 bucks. No qualifying, no classes, no anything. You just form two lines, whoever your next to, you race.
So were going to be heading down the gorge sometime this week and go to our hidden strip.
I will have to get it on video. Im sure where going to do 0-80 along with a 40 roll and probably a 60 roll

Street racing takes a lot of the racing skill away, which drag racing doesn't have a lot to begin with since it's more car based. You can't get a proper launch on the street, unless you go to 7th St or something similar, which I kinda doubt you guys have. 99.9% of streets aren't rubbered in at all, so no grip = low launches = slow ass cars being even slower.
