Nothing is different, functionally. Weight, size, and shape was all the same. I just wanted it because it has an extra logo. There was no mark up either.

I've focused a lot on keeping both hands on the wheel as much as possible recently, and a short throw is a cancer to that, along with other proven flaws

Yeah, I have heard that having a short shifter can mess up your transmission synchros. I just like how it feels lol. Every time I drive a car without one, it just feels weird.

I wish it werent heavier than the itr knob. I kinda want to keep the heavier one but ill end up switching it out. Only 40 grams afterall. I will always prefer a short shifter til driving conditions demand otherwise. GSR oem wasnt bad though.
