Are your shocks adjustable? How do you have them set if so? I assume its geared towards track.. so my following question would be how you would adjust them for street if you did.

The Buddy Club Racing Spec Damper has 16 levels of damping. For street use, I usually set them to 8 all around. For track use, how I set up the damping levels depends on the track. Some road courses require you to set up your car to be really stiff, some require you to have your car on the softer side. Knowing the course and having sufficient data testing will definitely give you an advantage when you're out on the track trying to get a fast lap time.

Damn those are nice. Mine only adjust rebound. I'll hve to research to see how the adjustments affect driveability. I know spec will depend on the track and your car is a track oriented vehicle but knowledge will always be universally applicable to street in some aspect. :thumbs up I seek knowledge for both.

wait...are we interchanging damping for rebound? because i tthought all adjustable struts were damping adjustable

Koni yellow is rebound only of the information i read. I believe there are few shocks available that adjust both and theyre pricey.

Or im making the mistake of assuming he's talking compression damping?

Me 3. That car is my inspiration for sure.
Yeah, that guy's fast as fuck. It's just the wheels and tires that aren't doing it for me. I never subscribe to youtube accounts, but I did to his. I sent a link to Matt the other day that I was watching, lol

Aren't Koni and the buddy club specs both rebound adjustable only? I know the kw variant 3 is all sorts of adjustable lol

Possible. I didnt see any mention of which type of damping on the buddy club site for those. It would have just been my mistake for assuming his was compression. Suspension is a whole other world of tech. x_x

Guys, damping is the control of motion (or oscillation) inside the shock/strut. The Buddy Club RSD and Koni Sport (Yellow) are both single (rebound only) adjustable. The KW V3 is double-adjustable, meaning you can adjust the compression as well as the rebound.

Yeah, that guy's fast as f***. It's just the wheels and tires that aren't doing it for me. I never subscribe to youtube accounts, but I did to his. I sent a link to Matt the other day that I was watching, lol
Mike Hatten is pretty quick. You should watch Damien Cook's (Donkeybop) videos. He's a BEAST! :drive:

Yeah i just threw the wrench in when i assumed yours was compression and i think threw dylan off. Mine dont have settings so they refer to it as 'infinite adjustment'.

So going back, you keep yours somewhat in the middle of your damping range for street.
