Hid questions

Im looking to buy an hid kit for my stock oem headlights on my 94 ls im a big noob at this and i dont know what size my bulb is and i want them to b bluebut i dont want to blind anyone so any suggestions on where to buy them what kind and what size bulb would be greatly appreciated ty

you wont blind people... you have oem projectors, its only when they aren't aim correctly they will blind people.

9006 is what bulb size you need. for best light out put you need 4300K but sense you wan hint of blue, get either 5K or 6K.

DDM hid kit i what you should look into, life time warranty and if i remember correctly they are only $45.

9006 size bulb, that's a 30 second google search my friend.

Blue you'd be looking for 8-10k but they're gonna blind people no matter what because your oem housings are not designed for HIDs. You'd have to retrofit projectors to make it legit. Obviously not everyone does that though so you wouldn't be the first....

^^ thats a misconception, you DONT need a retro! you wont blind people, 8 out of 10 people wouldnt even care of bother with retro or understand the reason why its done, so to those people pnp kit will do fine.

retrofitting is replacing the crappy oem projector with a better one.. tsx,fxr, s2k. so yes it consist modding the housing

thats best way to go but like i said most people could care less so pnp will be fine aslong as aim correctly, aiming is key so you dont blind people.

Retrofit meaning you'd have to swap the projector lens in the OEM housing to a lens that came on a car that had HID's from the factory. (S2K, TSX, variety of Audi's, etc...)

5500 to 6k is what I prefer. And as it was mentioned before you have OEM projectors which will focus the light more where as reflective housing headlights will scatter the light and blind people. You can also adjust your projectors up and down and left to right. The way I did it was I drove around with a Philips head screwdriver and kept adjusting them until I got them how I wanted.

most cant spend $500 on lights... i needed them bc my fogs were brighter than my headlights!haha integra projectors are just out of date.

Thanx u guys u guys r awesome have answered every question ive had since signing up with club integra and every buy i have used u guys advice and it has been right so thanx once again so with my oem projectors if i dont retrofit and jus get the right aim with a 5k to 6k i should be in great shape right

You can retro fit if you want to. It's just takes more time and is somewhat of a pain.

Ill jus stick with my oem projectors i live in oklahoma city so i dont think it will b a problem sometimes u wanna blind the asshole in front of u that cuts u off cuz ur going a lil slow hey DUDE im lowered and our roads out here suck major donkeyballs
