It will probably be right around the same. If you don't mind driving to NH to get it done there is at least two shops here who do quality work that I can vouch for.

Poor girl blew a head gasket on the first rip this weekend. To the motor room over thanksgiving and hopefully it will come out how I want. Just need arp head studs, rod bolts and main studs before I do it so I'm on the right track.

No no. Head hasn't been touched yet. I was just going for a kangamangas crusie in NH mountains and got about 6 miles out and lost power started fuel cutting me and throwing smoke. Rebuild just starts sooner that is all.

Well so it begins. Ordering supertech valve springs and seals tonight. Along with ARP head studs and rod bolts and an Exedy OEM replacement clutch. All will be going in over break and hopefully I can finish up this little engine build I got going here.

Cams to come at a later time. But for now I'll be happy with it rebuilt and happy.

Well a little update since I've been home for a week or so.

Ordered the goodies and dropped my engine. Head is back in the garage after all the parts being put in cleaned up and the valves being lapped.

Block is at my buddies waiting to get hot tanked since someone decided head gasket sealer was the best way to fix a problem before I had it.

New pistons are pressed on the rods and waiting to go in.

Haven't really done much to my bay since I was a little lost on where everything is and what I could and couldn't do. The plan for it right now is to take ABS by use of a 40/40 proportioning valve, and possibly cutting the powersteering lines back and finally looping them. Still thinking of other ways to clean it up.

Hids are in.
Brembo blanks are in.
New wheels and tires are on.
Block is actually getting done instead of him telling me it is getting done.
Crank is getting micro polished since I found myself with a little bit of bearing wear. Hopoefully done by the first weeks of spring.

These are all the pics I have of her on my phone. First one was after the first wash and wax.

I love this picture for some reason. Exhaust will be fixed once I drop this megapower shit.
