Personally I found s.drives to be a decent tire. Also I never got wheel hop when I had them. It has to be either his shock settings or bushings. Or both lol.

I am not convinced it is shock settings, because I know people with both super soft and super stiff suspensions and they don't have wheel hop. Realistically though it can be anything from bad bushings to bent suspension parts. You got your suspension aligned by Darin at west end didn't you blake? Did he say anything about your arms, bushing, or even caster?

Hmm actually he did! That side is off a minuscule amount, i cant remember what component, but he offered to pull it out & back to spec. I just opted to get it done in the future once i go back for a corner balance. Correct on the S drives & they were super cold. My dampening is on the stiffer side but not on full, I prefer stiff>soft. Mounts are 65a innovative steel & replaced the torques with oem itr, all fresh. My bushings all have upwards of 240k on them tho- I'm sure they'd like some attention soon.

240k... :wak:

Teachnically you should have done your bushings before building your motor and buying a fancy coil over set up. What good a is a fast motor if the suspension sucks. And what good is a good suspension if the bushings are shot. Everything works together. Replace those damn bushings man. (Granted I only did prothane and ES bushings, which are not the greatest, but much better than torn and mooshy old ones. I will get mugen bushing when these go out.)

Technically yes, realistically no. My motor had a cracked piston and my suspension was blown. I needed a daily & those repairs have solved those problems, which were all that mattered then. I also don't have the time, place or tools for that kind of work. So would have to find someone with the place & tools or just take it in somewhere. How much does the mugen kit run? Here is the PIC /Suja 1 collaboration kit I was talking about, had some great user reviews a couple years ago I recall, always skeptical of cheap aftermarket bushings tho. Runs $225.

The mugen bushings are not cheap. However you only need them on pivot points really. The rest can be OEM or prothane. And i feel you man, sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do to get our car rolling again. Like I said the other night, I put my motor back together knowing the ring gaps were too large, because I needed a car to drive.

Honestly probably need bushings too and ill likely just get oem since its not designated as a track car and dont know if it will be. Whos knows, i could have wheel hop too if bushings could cause it on their own. I have never truely launched this car.

I plan on just getting oem bushings for mine. No point to go all out for me. Just tired of all the damn squeaking though when I go over a bump or anything

Sweet, stoked on the sticker! Will be my first one on the car. Went out and took a pic of the fogs at work. Tried to get an angle that'll help you get an idea of where to cut. Lemme know if you need anymore.

Here ya go:

one thing i wish i had done was mount them towards the front more.. see how mine are kinda sitting deep in the housing? & has somewhat of a gap between the lense & the plastic cover? now that ive cut it its nearly impossible to adjust w/ the material missing.
