Suspension bushings

I'm kind of a suspensiin noob but what bushings are typically replaced when installing after market suspensions? I've had my suspension in for a little over a year and my car creaks and squeaks when going over uneven surfaces. I know the passenger rear trailing arm bushing is on its way to going but if you guys would just throw me parts' names that typically need bushings I'll just google em and go from there. Thanks

what exactly are you replacing? struts? springs? a lot of different suspension parts have bushings. IDK a lot about suspension but I think the squeaking is coming from your struts or springs ( don't quote me on it lol) but there should be an energy suspension bushing package that is sold on here check that out...

Okay icool I'll have to do that. I got function and form type 1s like a year ago so I highly doubt they're the culprit because when I go to each corner of the car and push down with my body weight it travels as it should and doesn't squeak. But when I drive it over unlevel surfaces it sounds like my whole chassis squeaks and creaks

I think the training arm bushings have to be pressed in. as far as the bushings for the LCAs I have no Idea...im actually about to get my first ever set of aftermarket LCAs in the mail today lol

Oh nice. I have Godspeed LCA's and i love them so far! The bushings are solid so I don't have to replace those just yet. I know for sure the rear trailing arm bushings are shot but as far as I can tell those are the only bushings that need replacing

so then you should just be able to buy the rear trailing arm bushings and I think they sell a press for them at an auto part store and you can just use a socket wrench to press them out yourself

It's never a bad idea to replace bushings. They will fail after a while and preventative maintenance for as cheap as that set it is very good. I've heard good things about the Prothane trailing arm bushings.

As for press ins for LCAs they shouldnt be. Should be able to either pull out or drill out old ones and put new ones in.

This thread is not about LCA bushings, just to clear that up. I'm mainly concerned with pressing in trailing arm bushings

Awesome. So I don't have to actually take out the trailing arm? All I have to do is remove the bolt and then push new bushings in right?
