Thanks man the only thing that kinda sucks is that I don't get to driver her much. I'm always gone for work so it just sits there but on the other hand the miles don't build up lol. I'm trying to talk my fiancé to drive it to work once in a while I would have to say she looks damn sexy behind the wheel of that thing. Wen that thing hits vtec it's all smiles on her face its priceless.

Car looks great. And yeah I understand the VTEC thing. I don't have a VTEC engine but I showed my gf a video of the VTEC sound and her face lit up in a huge smile. Can't beat that. Now i gotta teach her to drive stick lol

Did I say VTEC enough in that paragraph? :p

Gotta be honest, that is the most mint interior I have seen. Dude those seats look like they just came from the dealer.

Now back to the actual topic. O2 sensors go out all the time dude, so it is very likely that it is the issue. If I were you I would reset it all and get the actual code numbers, especially because your car has two o2 sensors(Pre cat and post cat) and each one has different codes and plugs for that matter.

Haha yeah my women kinda knows how to drive stick but she getting the hang of it and its amazing what a car can do to you. She drives a 2010 scion tc I wanna either supercharge it but NOT with the TRD one I hate those I want a JRS or get a nice turbo set up it in for her one of these days. I also heard that if the cel is on the vetc does not crack but I tried it but I don't know if its me but it doesn't crack as hard with the cel on but like I said it might just be me.

Haha yeah they are nice seats but yes in my original posting I had it scanned but I never got the codes so when I get home I need the codes and I guess go from there. Now can I just get oem o2 sensors or do I need to get some high quality ones.

There are a few safety things honda did with vtec engagement to make sure you don't blow your motor. Vtec does not kick in when the motor is cold, or if there is a CEL. It is just to make sure you don't push your car to the limit if it isn't functioning properly/at operating temperature.

OEM or even bosch replacements should be fine.

Huh to be honest I had no idea of that and for my o2 sensors are they further down on the headers or are they down on the exhaust. Honda does not have MAF sensors do they or is that the MAP sensor they don't have I get those two confused.

Hoda has a MAP, they do not have a MAF.

And one sensor should be located on the cat, or just after it, depending on if it has ever been replaced. The other should be just before the cat, often on the header collector.

Ok sweet should be easy to find and as far as replacing them that is about the one thing I have not done lol, do they just screw in or a clip of sorts.

They thread in, just like a bolt. Just make sure you unplug them before unscrewing them so the wire doesn't twist up. It is pretty much common sense once you see them.

Sounds easy enough, I just hope there is no snow back at home so I can actually get under my car and take a look. Can you clean them or just better to get new ones?

Just buy new ones. I am all about saving money, however I am also about doing things right the first time. Also, it never hurts to replace sensors and parts as preventive maintenance.
