I'm sure this has been asked plenty of times but what all is needed to build this thing properly I hear these things are fast if built right my goal is a boosted LS/Vtec but I think I need to start with the V-tec portion first. Does anyone have a list of what I need ? And any suggested parts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FULLY-CNC-Honda-VTEC-Head-B16-Series-Performance-Aluminum-Cylinder-Head-NEW-/170803960450?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27c4b59a82&vxp=mtr Anyone know anything about this? Any and all help would be appreciated. And yes I know alot of you people think LS/Vtec Frankensteins are unreliable junk but I wanna know if I do it I'm going to do it right

Problem being I can never find a in-depth list of parts all i really need. Not any one to tell me why not to do it just a list of parts so I can get them all and go to work. Too much to ask for?

Butthurt much? Grow some skin. This is a very well covered topic and there are several very thorough write ups if you will simply google it. Could I do it for you to find the same answer? Sure. Will I? Nope.

Butthurt? No not at all sorry if I'm blunt but it seemed like every link I clicked ended up being someone bitching about the build.

Because a lot of people don't know the amount of work needed to do it properly and fuck up their engine

It is too much to ask given the broad spectrum in which the topic has been covered before. My first time looking up info, literally two weeks ago, for lsvtec just out of curiousity pulled up a few links. One a specific site with info on a reliable lsvtec build. Before people ask whats needed they need to understand it. If you understood it you wouldnt be asking a question you would be researching and then asking an informed question. We love tech talk here but some questions get too redundant and search results are easily found, not necessarily easily answered. Its not a simple ask and answer question. Gets technical.

To add, if youre not a person who understands it youre gonna end up being one of those people who have a lsvtec that theyre bitching about later.

I would have asked this same question but I did my research and decided not to do it. Only would if my tranny went out because then I'd want a Gsr swap.

It takes browsing link to link to gather what you need to know

O okay well i guess i didn't quiet state that i wasn't gonna simply slap it together i planned on using some of the best components when doing the swap. I hate when people cut corners but I guess my second question is can the LS tranny not hold up to the swap at all ? Or is it just a matter of stick to the speed limit? I had a 91 camaro originally with a 305 swapped to a 355 the 700r4 held up until it was put to the test (I had a turbo350 waiting) floored it burned up but casual driving it held up fine. Bottom line is does anyone know if its daily drivable ?

ls tranny blows. Gearing sucks u dont want it. At least gsr tranny or go itr. Any reliable build can be daily driven. Lsvtec is frankenstein for a reason. Theres so many variations of how you can build it. Like i said, its not a simple ask and answer question. Takes discussion. General concepts have been laid out and the variables are for you to choose from.
