Anyone know how to tell a real mugen oil cap from a fake mugen oil cap? My friend has a oil cap that looks just like this one

Which from google searches it's a mugen oil cap version 1. He'll give me it for 10 bucks.

Its an oil cap what could go wrong. The handle breaks off on you? Bad seal you'll notice probably immediately.

I have yet to discover the purpose of aluminum/metal oil caps.

I never really care for aftermarket oil caps. I've always had stock but if it's a real mugen gen 1 oil cap it's pretty rare from what I can tell and for 10 bucks it's worth it to have a rare part. +I could always sell it for more on honda marketplace later on if I want to

i spent 15 for a lip that i wasnt sure about and now i enjoy it on my car, and it still is in one piece

I would too i was just trying to actually find out what the benefit was because even the itr uses the chrome cap. Couldnt find any info. Dont care much to pay $40 for a brand label on the oil cap.
