Idk if I would go header wrap. Wraps are prone to cause rust, and living in the bay area, she has a decent amount of moisture in the air, especially at night

True. Which is why I always paint my header with ceramic heat paint and primer before wrapping them. Could always powder coat before wrapping as well. And I only use DEI titanium wrap now. Had bad experiences with that fiber glass crap kind.

A skid plate only protects, a heat shield serves a performance purpose but i doubt its that important as no header comes with one and the heat shields mostly serve a emissions purpose. Anyone that does care to keep the exhaust gases hot usually wraps. I consider getting a skid plate too but i pay more attention to speed bumps now so im better off in that department.

Yeah, spending that much, I rather invest in a turbo kit. Best bang for your buck (; (;

Nice headers!
You mean Nitrous is the best bang for your buck. Supercharger and turbo setups will cost more.
Nice pick up on the header. However, I believe that is a skid plate on it. Wouldn't make sense for it to be a heat shield. What is it shielding the heat from, the ground? Just a thought. Still a nice bit of protection for the header. Especially since it is bolted on.
Yee, that's a skid plate, babe. Better than a heat shield, imo
Okok. So it's a skid plate. Lol. I tried googling and that's what I assumed.

Oh no. I don't angle at all. Angles are for driveways really. While speedbumps thing is over exaggerated by everyone since the early days.

I still wanna change to the 98+ front end and rear bumper...seeing this makes me want to even more... I must resist cosmetic improvements! Too many other mods needed first.. lol

Lip looks good.

Sweet! The Crosser finally has a paint-matched OEM ITR front lip!
Thanks you guys! I'm excited to finally have them. Need to do a photoshoot for the OCT ROTM.

Hehez, do it.... do it now...

Just kidding. cosmetic improvements should be the last thing you do to your teg.
Like for me, the JDM front end will be my last mod.

hah I wish I could do it now :p My wish list is pretty long. Should see my track motivated plans. Gotta get down to 2:10 at buttonwillow so I can start modding again. (Told myself that I am not going to do any more mods until 2:10) lol

where did you find this? is it OEM?
It's a Comptech ITR lip. The oem will be a little lower. I bought it from NemesisCBR.

You've got the right mindset there Nick4dei. Not upgrading until you know for sure that that's the best time you can get with your current setup.

Thanks. Yeah I feel like thats the best way for me to learn. I still have 5 seconds to kill for me to reach my goal with this set up. Won't be easy getting 2:10 with this suspension, but I will make do.
