Nooooope! lol. We tried everything with no luck. I was launching at 8k and hooking at 4. I just don't have the power to push the slicks. I need exhaust and header. I'll prolly just run some street slicks until I go on with my build plans. It's frustrating to run better times on street tires than slicksGet better times at the drag strip man haha! I heard what you ran tonight
Negro why are you launching at 8000rpm.
^^slicks
Nah, slicks can handle 8k. After burning out, they get stupid sticky. My issue is they produce too much grip. I need to keep my tires spinning til about 7k before they hook, or I bog - I was hooking at 4k, so I had to build rpm's again. Killed my 60 foot time, I was running 2.2 60's. We tweaked it all night, and in the end, just realized my car can't run slicks right now. Working on an elixir for 2013Wouldn't that still produce a slow takeoff? Or do they grip and go with the flow from that?
Glad they got there safely. Enjoy! :thumbs upSpecial delivery from Raceline!!

Hey man, shipping is a BIIITCH. We try to get the cheapest rates as possible. It also helps out the customer too. If it fits, fuck it. :mrgreen:Thanks, Matt! I was worried I wouldn't get them in time. Ya'll are some frugal mother f***ers when it comes to shipping. The mailman said, "Well, they got there money worth on this flat rate box", hahaa
