Hehez. The toda is a little too costly for me, not sure if I am willing to spend 1k just for a header. The ITR header is a good performance part; even BLOX decided to copy it. XP

I heard used ones can be as low as $600 but not sure how rare that is. Saw one last year but i didnt know at the time. Not bad for a superior header and also why a well made rep is even better than the 4-1. Not doubting the 4-1's abilites, i have one.. just recommending something better for the same cost or maybe a little more if you want a real toda. Cmon now.. blox copying it is the same as saying skunk2 copied it and you know they both copied the itr manifold already. :mrgreen: Either way theyre both great bang for the buck. Im definately happy with mine but keeping the option open for more.

Nice pick up on the header. However, I believe that is a skid plate on it. Wouldn't make sense for it to be a heat shield. What is it shielding the heat from, the ground? Just a thought. Still a nice bit of protection for the header. Especially since it is bolted on.

Agreed. And the way it is designed and made is sturdy. It won't fall off like those other crappy ones. I would wrap the header though and put that heat reflect tape on your oil pan. Especially the heat tape on the oil pan since that skid plate is going to keep more heat in that area and not allow it to cool as easily.
