Would it be safe to wire an amp to the fuse box?

I heard it wasnt good cause the bass going through the amp could cause the ecu to start acting like the bass is running through it and cause it to surge

You can do the little blue signal wire I believe. But you don't want to do the power wire, it's too damn big anyways, just run it through to the battery.

Yeah, remote turn on is OK but def not the power wire. Has to go straight to the battery with an inline fuse. No other options really.

So i wire to the battery with red(power) with the orange wire connected to the fuse box, the ground wire(black) to the frame underneath the car?

I'm guessing the orange wire you're talking about is the remote switch wire? Make sure you wire it to something that is only powered when you turn the key. Otherwise you'd burn out your battery lol. Why not just wire the switch to the head unit? Nearly all aftermarket units come with a remote wire you can splice yours into. As for the ground wire, figure out where you want to bolt it to (it can be ANY part of the frame, mine is wired to the frame below my back seats), sand the paint off the spot so it makes a clean contact surface, then bolt it into place.

I had the amp hooked up in my 91 civic to a toggle, but, when i would hit the gas while the radio was off the speakers would make a wind sound that got louder/softer as my rpms went up/down

That's engine noise and can be caused by the ground wire and/or other things.

Yes. But don't ground it under the car, mines grounded some place under the backseat.

No, run power to the battery terminal, no where else. It is not hard in an Integra. Do not ground under the car, go close to the amp. I prefer to scrape the paint off and drill my own ground, but as said before a seat bolt will work fine.

To those who said the seatbolt, would that be the bolt thats holding the padding in for people to sit on in the back
