VTEC head bolt up to 1.6L DOHC?

Just wondering if a VTEC head would bolt up to this block. Ive never attempted a minime swap before and im thinking about doing it

probably not, you can however do a vtec swap with hasport mounts.

a "minime" is a sohc with a sohc vtec head

Yeah I didnt think so. If I still had my SOHC civic that got wrecked Id take the motor from it, rebuild it get a vtec head from the junkyard have it ported and polished, and then a new cam in it. But unfortunately that car had to be sold. Drove it for 4 days after this happened and the guy I sold it to was driving it home and had the axle snap on him.

1.6 dohc. Wouldn't that be a b16.....? Which is already vtec.
