When I get my car back I want to delete the rear wiper. I thought about doing it a while ago. The only problem I have is, how the luck do you remove the panel on the hatch to get to the wiper motor?

grab a screw driver and pry a a side up.. then pull it off with your hand the tabs won't break or at least mine and i did it that way 3 times.. they will give you just gotta give i some force

I started from the passenger side of the hatch with a flathead screwdriver. All the clips pop off. Just gotta be careful with each clip because they break easily.

had the same prob get a small pry bar or a bigger head screw driver it helps, and doesnt mess the plastics up as much.

I just did mine. Used the password jdm wiper delete. A little pricey but very good quality. Way better than the stupid rubber plugs. As for the panel you just have to trust that it won't break. Show it some love and yank that bastard off. And if it does break I have one that I won't be putting back on.

I bought the password jdm plug also. I'm happy I bought it.

Yeah it is very good quality. I just wish it didn't have a giant P on it lol. Works great though. No leaks and replaceable gaskets and it is billet vs rubber or even plastic.

It is black. All of my panels are black except my A pillar and B/C pillar panels, those of course are gray as well as the headliner.
