okay, well i did some research and i think the only only way to identify it is either by driving it or counting the teeth, but i would have to take it apart. In a scenario where i would buy a gsr trans off of someone, i would not be able to open it/drive it. So if someone knows of a way to identify a gsr trans, help would be appreciated :) ( unless it had a vin plate, to identify)

the only sure way to know is to look inside because people can swap out parts and you wouldnt know... if its not someone you trust you better know how or have someone go that knows what to look at. There may be other ways but thats all i know of.

I need to get a stock GSR transmission or something. I got gsr 1,2,3 and ls 4,5 with syncrotech carbon synchros new bearings etc. But I don't like ls 4th gear. Lol

Lol I wasn't driving crazy... I drive like a pro. He originally pulled me over for not having a front license plate... then he found out I was riding dirty (no registration or insurance ) I know, fucking up. Anyway he had me sitting in his patrol car while. He searched my car. So he tells me that he's impounding it and I just. Start crying hysterically and so he let me slide.
