That explains the different color temps. If you need to widen the hole then yea. I had to for my proper fit because i did not want the projector to stick forward past the bezel. Some just mount it without doing so and it will sit forward of the bezel. Up to you. I took a measurement of the distance which the oem projector sits in front of the bracket and mounted approximately so that the lens sits close to the oem position.

I want it to poke out but the screw wih lock nut have a hair of room to move on one but it barely sticks out. All depends on how it aims for when I do the test. if it doesn't work well then I'll adjust. Just not going to reattach the cover until I'm sure, that stuff sucks. Even dry when I let the two piece together the glue wants to reattach

Skygun you might have to show me a picture of that specific bolt youre talking about. Not sure why you have little to no room unless you cut it already or the bolt was too short. Or im not on the same page at all.

I might not have made enough room for the projector on that side, might have to shave some more, I'm not sure.cthe screw is two inches long and I did not cut any of them
