hmm i think i know what spring rates you should invest in now. hehe
It's hard for you because you do both drag and road racing. Both are completely different in terms of suspension setup/spring rates.I'll have to research with Thadya next weekend and see where I should be
Agreed. But it's still possible to find something that's acceptable for both. It's hard for you because you do both drag and road racing. Both are completely different in terms of suspension setup/spring rates.
I plan on doing it right next week, I just wanted to try for now, so I highly doubt I'll have an issue with it in the next week or two. N the slicks are 23" I think, I have to check, but they're knowledgeable people, so if they say to run it, it's gonna be the right size, lol. I still rev to 8k with my stock motor.Few things here:
1. If you are removing the power steering do it correctly, just pick up a manual rack and subframe from an EG (thats what I used on mine). Dylan is right, over time the rack will dry up and you will have bigger issues.
2. What size slicks are those on that car? If they are anything bigger then a 23" they will hurt you more then help you with your current power levels. What rpm do you rev out to?
3. Pump those rears up to 50psi
4. Atleast 500in/lbs in rear and 350 in/lb in the front for suspension. Its a nice happy balance considering you do both drag and road course. Raise the rear of the car up more then the front to avoid the rear squating and to help keep the front planted via weight transfer.
