Oh ill post a picture of how i mounted my comptech on the bottom for you after work.

Joe got all the shots i didnt. I was all over the place. Oh and her hood wasnt open joe.. haha if you look at them its either bent at the hood or at the bumper. I still cant tell which it is. that shadow is tricky.

Thanks Tom that will be greatly appreciated. There might be something wrong with my hood latch cuz there are a few instances where I am unable to close the hood normally. During those times , I'd use one of my knees to close the hood with my bodyweight.

haha joe ive met a lot of people just hanging out at the track and going to Raceline so i sort of do rounds to say hi, shoot the s*** and take photos or just hang out. When i disappeared the longest was when JDM zipties let me borrow his professional lens and teach me something. There was a spot at turn 2, no dog s***! :rolf:

Z was the hood always like that? I examined one of my photos and my suspicion was that your hood was bent creating the shadow but photos are tricky especially when not perfectly sharp. Maybe someone tried stealing it? In joes photo it looks like your bumper is pressed in.

Are you talking about the very last pix in Joe's post? Yeah my hood sits a little too forward. I think the hood hinge may be bend.

The other asshole
Could be worse, your hood could look like mine :D

Looks like a blast, I wish there were events like this around here, unfortunately everyone here still thinks lowering hatchback civics on 22" rims and painting it a bright color is still cool

Ya that last one he posted. Most others i just cant tell whether its the hood or bumper. One or the other is causing the shadow but i guess a bent hinge could push it forward however id think it would show a discrepancy in alignment aside from the middle only. Everything else looks aligned. I meant to get a better look after Joe and i talked about it but forgot.

That would be the reason i cant tell. lol Things like this bug me til i figure it out.
Yeah, it annoyed the hell out of me when I first noticed that it wasn't aligning. Then I tried unbolting the hood to push the hood back and to straightened it, but didn't really work after several attempts. So the only thing I can assume is that the hinges are slightly bent.

Heres is how the bottom should look with the clip in. Cut the slit at an angle to make it easier to push the clip in. Use the hole from the lip as a template while its on the bumper to drill the hole.

Except for the extra holes... heres how the clips should look at the fender liner for oem mounting. Fender liner and bumper will be marked from the factory for where the hole should be drilled. Liner probably has the hole already but will at least have the slit where the clip slides in from.

Final product.
