So after my fender bender, one of the ac hoses was pushed into the exhaust manifold and got a hole burned into it :( I got a replacement for that had it all put together, and tested the vacuum. All seemed well so I went ahead and put in the freon...just to find a small tiny leak in the low end suction hose, right in the middle of the hose. So now, I'm going today to pick up a new one of those, and it will be Saturday by the earliest that I can have ac back finally. Just in time for the hot weather to be over :( bleh.

Shit if u are gonna save up for paint don't waste money on a pint.
I'd just get a rattle can from paint scratch.com
Or flat black that shit and just save up for a full paint job.

I was thinkin about that, but I find nothing more tacky than a car with unmatched parts. It's gonna be a WHILE before for I can get a full paint job, so I don't want to run with one fender not matching the rest of my car you know?

With that being said, check out paint scratch. Get a spray can of paint and clear n call it a day til u paint the whole car.

Finally got the ac all fixed charged and blowing ice cold Friday, and of course the next two days are only in the 70's...well at least I got it fixed :) ready for the next heat wave lol.

I'm almost back together. We need at least one damn meet this summer lol.

So I got a little oil leak, jacked it up to take a gander. Looks like its leaking from the oil pan gasket on the left side. Gonna replace that so I sprayed some zep 45 on the exhaust bolts to let them soak over night, and drained the oil. First thing tomorrow gonna replace that gasket. Saw some other minor minor leaks from the distributer and and even smaller one from the valve cover, but ill save those for another day. Maybe when I'm ready to repaint the cover :) oh, and my paint came today for my fender so that's another project ill be starting in the coming days. I'm stoked :)

Got a little bit of a late start today, but got the gasket replaced and all back together. Changed the oil too while I was at it. Now gonna get some sand paper tomorrow and start working at that fender :)

Started painting the fender, only got primer and two coats of base coat before it started to sprinkle. Hope the weather is good tomorrow so I can finish it, then I might be able to put it on this week :)

Right on man. It'll be nice being all one color again. We need to setup a meet asap before weather goes to shit. I'm gonna be rollin this week. Just gotta button up a few things before I fire the new motor up.
