Hard Stiff clutch Pedal

Sup guys I have a bit of a stiff clutch issue,

Its really when I try to push it down, I've tried adjusting the screw piece inside the engine bay but if its too loose it won't engage the gears and its tough to shift, but if its too tight the pedal gets really hard but shifts like butter.

This cable is a autozone cable so I don't know if thats an issue cause its aftermarket insted of being OEM?

I have no leaks inside or around the transmission

its a b18 tranny, and grinds a bit going into 3rd

any info on what I could do would help, weather it be all complex or something simple like getting a new cable, anything helps

I had this problem on my crx. Super stiff pedal, it felt like i was working against a brick wall. It was so bad that the clutch cable eventually snapped. I bought a new cable and i felt a little bit smoother, for about a week. Then snapped again. I just replaced the clutch, flywheel, pilot, etc. and cable again and didn't have the problem anymore. I do not know if your situation is the same. Do you know when the clutch was done last??

I already went through one cable cause of this I'm just waiting for the day my cable breaks again..

I honestly don't know, Its been recently giving me problems so I haven't really looked into it but I should have it checked out to see if the clutch could be replaced

When you let off the clutch does it make any noise? A chirping or rattle maybe? Does it feel like the clutch is slipping at all?

nope no noise at all, only noise is a squeek sound from the cable itself rubbing against the rubber piece that goes thorugh the firewall, its clean though no slippin or anyhing
