da b20 swap! reliable?

i just bought a da that has a cracked head. im going to replace the engine with one from a japanese import place where i live. i know that the b20 are bored thinner then the b18. i dont plan on boosting it cause im currently saving money for a type r. but so long as i dont boost it, just being stock will the b20 prove reliable? will this motor last. im not a rough driver either. also just a another question. i know why they call em da integras, but what is the diff between that and db9? i have a 1991 four door ls

And as for your reliability question it all comes down to how you build it, who builds it, experience involved, parts used. As well as the extent of the damage already done to the motor. You won't get a straight answer, but search anyway there are many many threads.

I put a Jdm b20b in my DA and it seems to be holding up fine. I run the crap out of it with no problems. i'm getting ready to do b20vtec. I'll let you now how that works.

fo sho. they sell jdm b20bs locally here/around my area. lol. Ive seen alot of people with b20 swaps here.

emissions is easy peasy here. they just plug into the port and then youre done. they didnt pop my hood or nothing and i passed with a check engine light.
