Alright already... I'm dyin' ova heeah... What happened to "Keep Hope Alive" ? ...LOL... OK I think I'm spent.. You guys are either dream killers or you're seriously lookin' out.. Does anybody make a plain jane wheel with a decent offset that's light and flush-able ? (I know.. sounds like I'm describing toilet paper, but seriously) The only wheels I can think of are those matte black Spoon types. They're pretty cool.
Are you talking about the sw388? My girl just got them, but they're in a five lug, so she had to do the conversion. This is what they looked like - and yes, the tires are huge, lol. These are the tires that came with it before I bought her a smaller size

And I'm not trying to crush dreams, bro; just hoping to get it into your head enough that you don't make a big mistake and start putting together a car you won't want. I had to buy new wheels after I already bought a brand new set because I didn't have knowledge, and now I have to buy new suspension because I didn't know sk2 was going to be so s***ty on the track. We're here to help... Even me sometimes

Yeah, those are the ones I was talking about. They're decent and low key; RPF01's are just dope, a little too high profile for me. I ain't tryna get jacked. Are those sw388's pretty light? Trackable, maybe? I've carved plenty a back road and straight lined with some monsters, but I never built my own so the criticism is in good order, nah meen? Or as my two year old would say; "preeshay it guys"...

They're light and were designed for track purposes. Spoon uses that wheel on most of their older track cars: the Spoon DC and EK.

She has 16" and I think they're like 13 lbs. I think you could get RPF1s cheaper than these. ROTA makes a knock off, but it has more lug holes and shit. This isn't a very common wheel to see, more so the fake version

I'm a little reluctant to spend too much on wheels when my build is still in it's infancy. Right now its still an automatic and its running hot; so I got some work to do. Until I get the motor in good order I'll probably settle with sanding and painting the steelies that are on it. (I like the spacer Idea as well, thanks) Priorities, ya know? I was gonna do the Diamond Racing wheels cause I liked the look and they're relatively cheap. Those Spoon wheels are sharp but pricey and the RPF01's.....well... I wouldn't have a rat racer with those; it would be more of a rice racer...

BTW, I was parousing Craigslist the other day and came across an '98 Accord with some, like, mid '80's Celica wheels that got my attention; Hey, if they're light enough; right? I can almost feel the gears in my brain starting to turn....Hope is alive again...
