Well cuda swore he sold it and bought another... and put the k1s on the new one but ok... as for the wheels bronze or polished would look good

If I plan on lowering and picking up some new tires what is the best route to go?

Should I lower first...I've done research and gonna go with Koni+GCs or should I buy new tires/wheels then lower.

Also are there any other necessary suspension upgrades needed?
In most threads I saw rear sway bars and camber kits...

wait, you're going to buy wheels that are 16x8 and not going to lower your car? those wheels are ment to be stanced. get coilovers while you're at it or it'll look like complete shit. 205-45-16 are weaks get 195-40-16

Well I can't afford both coilovers and new wheels/tires, so I'm basically deciding if I want to get low or get new wheels/tires.

When I was making this thread I didn't research the cost of getting low I thought it was more expensive but for a decent setup its only $800. So shame on me I guess?

I'd say go low first. Most aftermarket rims look stupid on our cars with monster wheel gap. Just my 2 cents.

always slam first. then get wheels that dont fit and MAKE them fit.

Well I'm currently running 195/55/15 tires my father had purchased them when he had owned the car. I know they aren't the best for lowering.

I've read that around a 2inch drop and you shouldn't experience any tire rub...I wanna get low but I don't wanna get low enough to the point where I'm bottoming out everywhere. I just don't want to have to worry about my exhaust scraping and oil pan getting cracked. I'm looking for a mild-medium drop not so much a SSS drop. So is what I'm asking for even possible haha?

The roads are pretty nice where I live and I always try to avoid crappy roads although I do a lot of thru-way driving.

Also I'm curious the people that are slammed, is that 3.5"+ drop?

Also how hard is the install is it pretty much DIYable? I have all the tools.

I got my teg with a 3in drop and I dont scrape anything but a little bit of the front mudflap things.
As for the install...I haven't done it, but just thinking about it I would say you'd want a lift. Don't just jack up the car, I think that would be no fun at all, cause you have to replace all the suspension and stuff. But I don't know for sure, like I said, ive never done it.
