Going to need to cut your old radiator support off and spot weld the jdm support on, it's the right way to do it.. And some rewiring for the headlights... And extend side marker plugs
why is it not approved by the SCCA?OP I suggest doing research as this topic has been covered, the conversion requires removal of the T bar, a new one, bumper hood, lights fenders etc.
Also note this is not an SCCA approved conversion

I just did this recently. It's very easy to do. And I only say easy because I had access to all the tools required.
