what do you guys think of Preludes?

It was off or one of you interpreting it wrong. I rev to 8k and i top third at 90. Preludes rev to 7k. 90km.. sure, but not 90mph.

I could see a jdm h22a with the potential to beat a type r. The jdm motor was the only one to surpass 200hp at 220hp. Combined with the torque it produces i can see it being a contender but even then id say it puts it as an even match.

like i said, 90 pobably not but i would say 70, and thats what i like about the jdm h22a, it makes soo much horsepower for a 4cyl honda, granted it may not rev as high as a b series, nevertheless, awesome engines, wonder what a teg coupe with a jdm h22a swap would be like

It would be beastly. 70 maybe.. still off im pretty sure but thats a far cry from your original 90. lol You sound like you have it set in your mind that all 4cyl hondas are usually weaklings in general but were talking 2.2 liters here. Its not unexpected or surprising honestly, but does deserve its credit.

forgive me, thats not what i mean at all, i just have such a soft spot for h22s and ludes, because theyre what got me into hondas, if i could i would have a type r teg, 00 civic si, and 01 prelude, probably my 3 favorite hondas, more than s2k's, more than an nsx

When the 5th gen was first released it looked weird but after seeing some clean setups it grew on me and its the best design in all generations. Its definately a torque beast. Front end always lifting up when i drove it.

dont get me wrong, the nsx is beautiful.... aswell as the s2k but the s2k is a 2seater and i was never really a roadster fan and the nsx is too loud for me. it looks like a supercar, whereas the prelude has that look about it... idk how to explain it but i just like the long hood, short tail look, looks aggressive, sleek and mean

ok, now your just reading my mind... if your a fan of stance nation on facebook, i wish i could find the prelude that was on there, it belongs to someone in my town, but get this, it belongs to a girl, its slammed, with pink rims, an exhaust, HID's and a big "princess" sticker on the windshield, all in all, not my style but cool as shit, a girl with a sicker ride than me

lucky.... a girl with a nice ride is a turn on, but it kinda works in the reverse if her ride is just wayyyyyyyyyyyy more badass than mine.... but even then all you do is say "i dont ride bitch" and usually you can work your way into the drivers seat
