hi everyone can anyone tell me if i am able to turbocharge my engin form the valvle cover just being off. it is super clean and no gunk build up. cams look brand new. d16a1 engine. please respond and i will post up a picture if you would take interest in this.

Do a compression test and then you will have a better idea of if you can go turbo than you would just by looking at shit.

A compression test is easier to do than removing your valve cover.

Based on your original post, my understanding of this is you want to turbocharge your motor and drive with your valve cover off. If so, I'm going to say: DON'T DO IT.

Lol I read his post again and think he means to ask if his engine is good enough for boost by just looking at the valve and cams. He say its a d16 but looks more like a b18 to me. I say don't put turbo if you don't even know what engine you have.

yeah he said it is a d16 but that looks like a b18 non vtec motor. so i say he doesnt know what hes talking about..
