I black housed my db7's headlights today, I've done this to a civic eg before and it looked good so I thought I'd try it on a teggy.
BEFORE

AFTER

Still have to clear the lenses some more, I know.

Hmmmmm it makes the car look more beat up... I think it's cause the lens need to be cleaned though to show it off. I've always been a fan of black housing lights.

What do you mean beat up? Like it has black eyes? Haha. I know she needs tlc, I've only had it a week though!
i thought i was the only here that did it lol
Yeah it seems like not many people do it, even though it looks subtle and sexy.

no, not like it has black eyes, like it's beat up...take time to give it TLC then post more pics..even that pic you quoted doesnt make me like blacked headlights on the USDM 3rd gen

I did research (photos) and decided i didnt like what i saw. All black just doesnt work no matter what color its on. And the high beams, youre loosing your high beam function.

I don't need high since my low beam is way brighter 100 watt hid 4300k

I can understand that. High beam isnt just for brightness though it also lights up things above the cutoff line and farther into the distance. The hid will have the distance covered. Really though how often do we use our highs. Thats just the reason i wouldnt black out the high's but not the reason i dislike the look. Didnt really see any on a white car and i suspected it would look a tad better cus of the contrast however all blacked out doesnt work for me. I dont see a headlight, theyre just black circles. At least its better than on a black integra.
