Bring your husband and have him demand it be complete within the month. If not, tell them you refuse to pay for it taking this long and that you have needed the car for the past 6 months. Easier said than done though, lol

You need to get a reason from them for why its taking so long. I will tell u this though, shops will often put quicker jobs ahead of longer projects because they can finish them so fast and get paid. But still 7 months and its not even near completion is utterly rediculous. It should be near completion and in progress to be NOW or id pull out. What have they said everytime youve been there? Im not pushing you to be confrontational but you need to answers with good reason, then you can decide your next move.

When my bay wasn't finished he called them yelling and screaming one day. Not too long after my bay was done.
I just need to scream occasionally and I feel better.

it took a month on my car to get it repaired and painted...and that was because i was waiting for the insurance company to cut me my check so i could pay the man...this is ridiculous

i had a photographer wanting to do a feature two weeks ago and i told them that he was coming and the owner was like sorry we wont be open that day..
