Shakes while braking!!!!!

Okay I've got a 90 LS coupe. Automatic. I recently replaced the rotors, brake pads, and calipers. All done at the same exact time. I replaced all of it because I was getting a bad shake while braking so I thought okay warped rotor. So I replaced all of it. I mean it's a 22 year old car from PA so it was time to replace it all anyways. Lol. So I did. And I've still got the shake in the front end. It's only while braking and glides like a Cadillac while driving. I've been told possibly warped rotors again so I warrantied them and the pads with autozone and still have the horrible shake. Like I said its only while braking. So I was also told tie rods, inner or outer I'm not sure, possibly front struts, or upper ball joints? I'm at a loss here just scratching my head now.

I've also replaced lower ball joints, and both cv axles. So any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks a lot!!

All I could think of would be rotors cuz my civic hatch does the same thing but you said you have replaced them and it wouldn't be upper ball joints or tie rods I wouldn't think cus those have nothing to do with the braking system but I could be wrong

Yeah man I don't know either lol. I'm going to rip it all apart today sometime and check to make sure that my rotors are fully seated. I've still got the original rotor screws so I'll take a wire brush and clean that all off and go from there! I'll keep y'all updated!

hmmm weird, definately sounds like warped rotors, but if you replaced them twice along with pads, axles and the ball joints... then hmmmmm. you're not sparying water on the rotors (washing car) after a hot long drive are you?

lets rotate the tires front and back? maybe a bad wheel. lug nuts torqued down right? i know these are stupud but hey... troubleshooting... sometimes you gotta elminate it all.

Did you actually check the rotors to see how out of round they were? That would be easier than replacing them wihout knowing if that is the actual problem. Interested to see what you end up finding, haven't heard of this before. Do you feel the brake pedal pulsating as well or just the car shaking?

It's possible your brand new rotors are warped out of the box. Check your inner and outer tie rods as well. Also. Try rotating your tires. That's free so it can't hurt.

I had this brake-shake problem before.. I'm not sure we had the same problem, but rotating my tires helped stopped my shaking. Replacing my brakes and rotors eased the shaking, but it was still there. Try rotating your tires or maybe replace them.

Tires are brand new and wheels just recently balanced and the rotors I've replaced twice in the last week. I don't have a shop down here that I can get them checked at or anything so that's why I warrantied them out. No cost to me doing that either. It's all covered through autozone. But I'll try to rotate the wheels and see where it takes me.

And no not spraying water on them after a long drive. Also yes the pulsation is in the brake pedal along with the steering wheel.

Yeah. I've checked that. I also took everything apart yesterday and took a wire brush and cleaned the backs of the wheels and behind the rotors and every where there was a surface. I was also hoping that going through three sets of brand new rotors someone at the manufacturer would have known how to do their jobs and not make a warped rotor. Three sets of rotors from the same parts store in the same week. Yeah that can't be that damn stupid. But none the less the shake is still there and I'm at a point of just saying fuck it and not worrying about it any more. It's a 22 year old car from PA and I only paid $500 for it so a little bobble here and there isn't bad. Back to the head scratching I guess.......
