Hayvan's Euro Spec ITR // Semi-track build

Hayvan

legitimately weird.
No clue tbh, only info i was able to find was:
Spring rate and damping force are set hard for high speed drifting in circuit conditions using high grip radial tires. Damping force is adjustable by 30 steps to match the various track conditions or specification of of the vehicle.
Should be 10/8 or something close to that.

These won't go "look at me i'm jdm stanced y0" low so I'll have to see how the 17's will look like, but for the track i'd like to lower it just a little bit, not too much as I'm also running beefy semi slicks (F: 205/55/15 R: 195/55/15)

This is going to sound n00bish but what are R comps?

I'm guessing Race compound tires?

I think those are considered racing slicks. R comps here are the Toyo RA1, the Nitto NT01 etc. they are a DOT tire with super low tread ware on them i think.

Ah k, we call them Semi-Slicks here.
R1R's, R888's, Advan's are considered r comps over here.

I'm really pleased with the Advan's, they're even suitable for a daily driver

Thanks, sure I've got some pics and vids!

She was stored for 7 years but was amazingly well kept so everything went better then expected.
Had to disassemble the entire engine but I just wanted to make sure everything was in order.
Changed the fluids/belts etc and she ran like a purty horse.
Issue was however the brakes, the brakecilinder was jammed and new(used/fixed) ones are way too expensive here.
So we tried to fixed this one and succes!

Next step: Exterior.

They're actually called semi-slick tires over there. Here in the US of A, they're called R-compounds.
