My integra keeps burning up my distribuitor. The problem started when my car's rpms started jumping from 2k to 3k so i cleaned out the IACV and it ran okay for about 10 seconds and than the rpms would start jumping again. It did that about 5 times than the car would turn off and wouldnt turn on at all. I replaced the map sensor thinking it was that and my fuel pump, and same problem. Than i tought to myself maybe is my dizzy so i went and bought one, and nope same problem so i tested it and it had no spark so i exchanged it. the new dizzy did work. i turned it off, went to eat, when i came back and try to put the car in garage wouldnt turn on! it would crank but no start. i replaced the dizzy and same thing happened worked for a while than stopped working:( what can be the cause of my car burning the dizzy? please helllppppp

Check your ignitor (aka Ignition Control Module). Check your coil.

Check the harness connectors. I had the same problem. Bought a new one not a rebuilt one. Plugged it all in and nothing. So I took apart the distributor connectors, cleaned and re-lubed the terminals and Varooooommmm.....
