I have a 1990 acura integra gs, automatic trans, 1992 engine (b18a1)
So, here's whats up, to start with my car is making wierd screeching noise when ever i turn, the harder the turn the louder it is, and it sounds like its coming from behind my wheels, ive done some research and heard that could be bad tie rod ends, are those easy to fix on your own? or do i have to take it to a shop? Also, i having a probelm with my car temperature (again. . .) i changed out the thermostat and it got better but after about 20-30 of continuous driving my car will try to overheat if stopped, Definately if its hot outside, i heard this could be a fan probelm and i see my fans choose when they want to come on when they feel like it -__- (go figure. . .) also im pretty sure my fan isnt the only culprit as im starting to notice my radiator my also just be s***, also my car front end is a bit pushed in im noticing. . .could this cause it to overheat too? Another thing is my car will throw a CEL if i dont let if warm up for like 5 mins, it gives a code 12 which is my EGR. . .but when its warm its fine i guess? Idk whats going on there but when my car starts i goes to about 1- 1.5k rpms and through the 5 mins it makes it way down to about 700-800 rpms. . . Also, im think im getting s***** mpg too, could the fuel filter need changing? What is going on here? I just want my car to be normal so i can finally start to mod it. . .but at this rate i wont be able to this summer :cry: Howshould i go about solving my probelms? Which should i attack first and which should i not worry about so much? (Also, i only make about $300 a week so money is a factor *Dam you economy!* lol)
