It's got a ton of none carb legal stuff and now a b16b. I've heard of getting a ref to pass jdm engines but that sounds like a ton of work

you wont pass with a b16, you can pass i think with a b20 now

ATM it still has the b18a1 w/ b1 head on a phearable basemap so that probably wouldn't pass even if the ref okayd it

as long as you can get it to pass smog and it passes visual it will pass ref. ie, numbers on the motor have to be good ie years etc. smog shit hooked up, wiring is good, no jumper harness

has to have us manifolds etc. all us sensors and smog equiptment and has to be a newer motor than the chassis it a 94 b16 in a 95 eg is not okay.
